Sober Living & Halfway Houses Best Recovery Residence in Atlanta

Recovery Residences are a great way to meet people with a common goal! Living in a sober living/halfway house is a great experience that leads to long term sobriety. Our program is $1100 a month and includes everything but food. Stepping Stones of Atlanta is also part of some non-profits that offer scholarships for those seeking treatment.

Conveniently located near shopping, meetings and other resources. With furniture and all amenities provided, we are determined to provide a clean, safe, drug and alcohol free New Beginning Recovery environment. Each New Beginning Recovery has a dedicated house manager whose responsibility is to ensure the well being of the house occupants. All with at least one year of sobriety, the house managers show a commitment to working a 12-step program in their daily lives, and demonstrate through their actions that they can lead by example.

This home is open to single women and women with children. 10min from the freeway, 15min to downtown and close to shopping and meetings. Transitional housing is temporary housing for the working homeless population and is set up to transition their residents to permanent housing. Stepping Stones homes promote community, recovery, and peer support. Our goal is to provide a built-in network of persons with positive healthy behaviors to encourage one another. Stepping Stones is equipped to house 14 women and 28 children at this time.

Outpatient Treatment

Many men use sober housing to help make the transition from rehab to living independently without using drugs or alcohol. Stepping Stones of Atlanta Recovery Residences is a sober living house (recovery residence) that offers structure, safety, and accountability. We are a place of healing, hope and success that will allow you to live life without drugs or alcohol. We operate on the principles found in the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. We offer a sober living environment that focuses on unity, service and recovery.

Stepping Stones of Atlanta Recovery Residence believes that each client has value as a person, capable of self-determination and is therefore due respect and honesty. If you or a loved one is trying to stop drinking or using drugs, Stepping Stones sober living homes may be an option for you. Our sober living homes are group residences for men who are struggling with addiction from alcohol and drugs. In most instances, men  who live in sober homes have to follow certain house rules and contribute to the home by doing chores. Most importantly, residents must stay sober throughout their stay in the home. Living in this type of environment can promote lasting recovery–helping men to maintain their sobriety as they adjust in life both during and after treatment.

I know without a doubt I would not still be clean and sober without the foundation I have been gifted with at Stepping Stones. Each Stepping Stones sober home has a on-site house manager whose responsibility is to ensure the well being of the house occupants. All with at least one year of sobriety, the house managers show a commitment to working a 12-step program in their daily lives, and demonstrate through their actions that they can lead by example. Health Care

We offer case management and outpatient services through local providers such as Wellstone and grant programs to ensure long-term recovery. Additionally, for those residents on Medication Assisted Treatment, Stepping Stones offers housing and recovery support services in a controlled setting. Sober living is a residential environment where individuals recovering from addiction to alcohol and drugs can live in community with like-minded housemates. To that end, the residence is alcohol and drug free and each house member participates in its upkeep and operation.

The 12-steps of Alcoholics Anonymous are, in our opinion, is the only proven method of establishing long-term sobriety for people who suffer from drug addiction or alcoholism. By aligning Stepping Stone’s sober living program with the 12 Steps, we not only access the therapeutic value of the Steps, but also establish a support system for the clients.

Referrals for Outpatient Programs, Therapists, Life Coaches, and Attorneys

The program is available to women at or below 200% of the Federal poverty level who reside in Washington County, have substance use issues, and are eligible for a reunification plan. This property sits on a beautiful 3 acres and is open to single women and women with children. Stepping Stones is a 501(c)3 faith based drug/alcohol recovery program for men ages years of age.

Residents participate in the program from three to twelve months as they work on developing recovery skills and support systems. Residents are also assisted with obtaining employment, entitlements, parenting skills, living and coping skills as well as finding appropriate housing prior to discharge. I have lived at Stepping Stones sober Living since December of 2019. Upon move in Ashley bent over backwards to accomodate me, helping me move, worked with me to make sure my needs were met, etc. The program was gracious when I was struggling to get back on my feet and has provided safety and support as I fight my way back to recovery. I am now 6 months clean and sober, I am employed full time, I am learning to care for myself and my needs and I have a safe place to call home.

We rely heavily on peer support specialists – these are persons with lived experience with training leading groups, workforce development, mental and physical health resources resources, and financial counseling. Each house  democratically elects a house president, who assists with leading meetings, intake of new residents, and reporting to Stepping Stones staff in the case of an issue. They are trusted servants who have a vested interest in the smooth functioning of the housing environment. Using this experience, Callan decided to organize a more structured living situation for himselfand his newly sober friends. The basic rules of the house would center on accountability,sponsorship, meeting schedules, and house rules. If people wanted to follow these rules theycould be his roommates.

Three-quarter house offers a structured, transitional living program for adult men recovering from alcohol and drug addictions. Residents are required to participate in recovery support groups. Transitional housing for women in Sacramento who are either coming out of treatment or in recovery and want a supportive clean and sober living environment to get back on their feet. This home is program based and requires attendance at meetings and having a sponsor.

He moved into the new house to guide and support thenew roommates and hired a house manager for the original residence. The New Bedford Women’s Residential Rehabilitation Service RRS Program provides 21 beds for women and women with infants with substance use disorders. The Program is located in a three-story building which provides a comfortable, sober, home-like environment.

For the safety of our patients, the location of our supported housing treatment center is provided only to patients once they are enrolled in the program.
